Here is my entry for the Twelfth and final day of the UKSTampers Twelve days of Christmas Challenge. The main stamps are by Creative Expressions and the backgrounds are various Imagepac stamps I bought at shows. I used watercolour pencils to give vibrancy to the main character, and highlighted the sun with Sakura Jelly Roll glitter pens.
Just as I thought this was me done with the challenge I decided to bind all the pages into a book so I need to create a couple of cover pages - more on this to follow then!

Twelve days of Christmas: Day 11

Entries are coming thick and fast now!

Here is my take for Day 11, using an Alice in Wonderland stamp from Stamp Attack. I have had the set for ages, love it but the stamps are not that easy to use...

The background is a clear stamp from Visible Image, with an Anna Griffin border top and bottom. I have glued coloured crystals for the music notes and hand drew the stalks. The corners are metal cut-offs from a project I finished recently and were just too pretty to throw away!

Here is my entry for the Tenth day of Christmas in the UK Stampers challenge. Finding the Lords image was easy: I have always loved this Paper Artsy stamp and the gentlemen are very Lord-like and so perfect for this. Making them leap was another story though...


Here is my attempt, using squiggles from the Stamp Bug as springs. The cogs in the background are from Paper Artsy too.

Twelve days of Christmas: Days 8 and 9

I am now in catch-up mode and did days 8 and 9 today. Day 10 will follow soon and then I'll be back on track for the wonderful UKSTampers Twelve days of Christmas challenge!

You know you have too many rubber stamps when you go through your animals wondering what you can use as a substitute for a cow and realise you have three different cow stamps (OK, one of them turned out to be a bull...).

The girls image is from a company called 'Blue Cardigan' which seems to have ceased trading. If anyone knows where to get their stamps please let me know! I extended the wires with a pen, and hey presto! The flowers/grass are Art Impressions and the cow came from a job lot on eBay eons ago. Background is sponged Distress inks.

OK, this one was quick and easy. Since the beginning of this series I have been meaning to use these Invoke Arts dancers, and the Prima tassels border just begged to form the curtain.



You cannot really see it on the scan but the main dancer's outfit is enhanced with glitter pens. I will add a shadow for the main dancer as she looks a bit silly floating in mid-air - I did not realise until a moment ago!

Twelve days of Christmas - day 7

This is my entry for day 7 of the Twelve days of Christmas challenge on the UKSTampers forum. The stamp is by Inka (I chopped off some rather long legs!) , and the background is a collage of napkins from a swap years ago on the Practical Publishing forum ago and anaglypta swatches courtesy of B&Q.

This is my sixth entry for the UKStampers Twelve Days of Christmas challenge - it is getting harder and harder!



The bird is by Dimension Fourth (minus a very flourishy tail!) and the eggs are by Paper Artsy. The backgrounds are all acohol inked and the bird is coloured with Sakura glitter pens.

I'm glad I started captioning the series as I don't think anyone would have recognised this as a laying goose otherwise!

Fifth Day of Christmas: Five gold rings

This is my entry for the Fifth day of Chrismas in the UKSTampers challenge.
 The fir tree branches are stamped in Brilliance ink and the lights coloured with Sakura glitter pens. The rings are from Clarity - I have had them for ages! The hanging strings are drawn with Sakura metallic pens.


Finally I edged the card with more Brilliance inks and used scraps of red paper for the text and number.
Simple really!
