OK, so it's December and I have been making Christmas cards. With gusto even, much more than in previous years. The trouble is, I am having so much fun making them, I can't get round to writing an posting any of them...

This one uses a simple sprayed background, and a piece of aluminium roasting tin which I put through my Wizard over a Magenta charm. My family are delighted, we are having roast every Sunday now...

Here's the card I made for Penny's Birthday. I have had the paper for months and at last inspiration struck!

The stamp is from Oyster stamps, and I made the heart with black FIMO and pewter rub'n buff. I was a bit worried thet the heart might get damaged in the post but all went well and card, heart and all made it safe and sound.

Dragonfly

At the moment I am making mostly Christmas cards, which I obviously do not want to publish yet. However from time to time I have a break from jingling bells and try my hand at something different. Here is the card I made for my friend Tasha's 'unbirthday'

together with a shrink plastic brooch inspired by Robert of Once upon a Stamp http://thornsartplace.blogspot.com/
The background is Pinata Alcohol Inks , with Stickles and crystals to add sparkle, and I covered it in crystal glaze to make the colours 'pop'.

It had been such a long time since I posted, I had forgotten how to get started!

Anyway it looks like blogs are the way to go, so here is another attempt, with a bit more determination to keep things up to date this time.

Here is a card I made using Opals as mosaics, a technique I really want to explore more fully when I have a bit more time. I sent it to my cyber-friend Lynn as a pick-me-up, with some suitably tasty treats!
